Soul sensation, Kersha Bailey has developed a three octave vocal range with a soulful, colourful style. Her influences are diverse and include Coldplay, George Benson, Outkast, Foo Fighters,. Kersha’s sweet voice and noteable song writing talents have taken her to performances such as the legendary London Jazz Café, Ronnie Scotts, Rise Festival, The Royal Albert Hall and for MPs in Covent Garden.

The self-termed Pluto native, Cloudfist has performed at poetry slams, hip hop battles and shows across the UK and Germany. His stage name, Cloudfist is a nod to his lyrical style hard hitting, though allusive.

An invigorating young talent, Aisling is a London teenage poetry SLAM champion, with a confidence of delivery and sharp word play that goes beyond her years. The Writer’s Block team were blown away by a recent performance we saw her in, we know you’ll be too.



_The Round House Slam Poets

London’s Roundhouse theatre put together a Summer Slam for young poets to battle it out for the top spot and receive some much needed recognition. This talented lot were judged by the seasoned spoken word aficionados such as Joshua Ishen (Benin City/P.I.P) and Polar Bear, and now will grace the Writer’s Block stage. Introducing:
